HPI Check Scotland provides digital vehicle history reports. Once a report is generated, we immediately request data from third-party vehicle data providers and API suppliers. This creates costs for us at the point the report is produced.
For that reason, no refund is normally available once a paid vehicle report has been generated.
Customers are responsible for entering the correct vehicle registration mark before purchase. If a report is generated for an incorrect registration entered by the customer, we are not normally able to refund the payment.
If you believe you have been charged twice for the same report or bundle, please contact us. Where we can verify a genuine duplicate payment, we will investigate and may issue a refund.
If you paid for a report but the report was not generated or made available due to a technical fault, please contact us at info@hpicheck.scot. We may either provide the report, provide a replacement report, restore access, or refund the payment, depending on the circumstances.
Prepaid bundle purchases create a prepaid code with a set number of report credits. Once credits have been used to generate reports, those used credits are not refundable.
If you lose your prepaid code, contact us using the email address used at checkout. We can search for your code and resend it to the customer email address we hold.
Vehicle reports rely on third-party data sources. A refund is not normally provided because a report does not contain a particular item of information, where that information is unavailable, not supplied by the data provider, or not present in the relevant database at the time of the check.
For refund or support questions, email: info@hpicheck.scot.
Please include your vehicle registration, payment date, email address used at checkout, and a short explanation of the issue.
