HPI Check Scotland provides online UK vehicle history checks using vehicle registration data and third-party vehicle data sources.
Depending on the report purchased, a vehicle check may include vehicle identity details, MOT information, mileage information, finance indicators, write-off or salvage indicators, valuation information and other vehicle history data.
Reports are normally generated instantly after successful payment or prepaid code redemption. Rare delays can happen if an external data provider is slow or temporarily unavailable.
No refund is normally available once a paid report has been generated because third-party data/API costs are incurred immediately. Please see our Refund Policy.
You are responsible for entering the correct vehicle registration before purchase. We are not normally able to refund a report generated for an incorrectly entered registration.
When you buy a prepaid bundle, we create a prepaid code with a set number of credits. Each time you use the code to generate a report, one credit is deducted.
Your prepaid code is shown on screen after successful payment and is also emailed to the email address supplied during Stripe checkout.

No. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our website.
No vehicle history report can guarantee a vehicle is safe or suitable to buy. Reports should be used alongside your own checks, physical inspection, V5C/logbook checks, service history checks and seller checks.
